Can I mix flat exterior paint with semi gloss interior?

I have a spare bedroom I want to paint, and don't really feel like spending money to do so, and have enough of these two paints where I could mix them and take care of it. Will they mix together, and would the finish be somewhere eggshell like then? Whats the difference between exterior and interior paint anyway? Can I mix flat exterior paint with semi gloss interior?
There is not a whole lot of difference except that exterior needs to be able withstand weather conditions ie; expanding and contracting with heat and cold. You can mix them together you will get a ';satin'; finish assuming they are both latex. Can I mix flat exterior paint with semi gloss interior?
If they are both latex YES

or

both oil based YES

or

both vinyl paint YES

BUT do NOT mix different kinds of paints

for example oil and latex or vinyl and latex etc...

Exterior paint usually contain more water resistance chemically speaking to help prevent chipping and cracking.

As for the COLOUR good luck they may or may not give the desired colour.

My suggestion is try a few drops of each in an old film canister or like container you can throw away after. Then make a paint swatch on paper let dry and see the results FIRST.
No. These people are wrong. Talk to a paint store worker, not just a clerk at Menards.

Exterior Paints and finishes have extra chemicals added to withstand moisture and sunlight, and these paints give off fumes even after it's dry. It wouldn't kill you, but it would probably make you sick feeling and give you strong headaches.
As long as they have the same base ( latex, oil or vinyl) there is no problem mixing for interior. Don't mix interior to use outdoors.

If the colors are the same you should be ok. Otherwise you might get a different hue
Yep -you'll get satin. Mix satin with flat %26amp; you get eggshell. ;o) As for interior vs. exterior I don't know the difference. Good question!
