White gloss paint on carpet?

Does anybody know how to remove the drips of gloss paint on our green hall carpet? If we use turps, will it remove the paint without damaging the carpet?White gloss paint on carpet?
Start with the simplest, easiest method; mild detergent and water. Many carpets are made from synthetic material and will not appreciate any solvents.

Check the paint container for advice and information, maybe even give the manufacturer an email.

Also, try to determine what type of carpet you have. If you were the one who put it down, you should have an idea of what fabric it is made of. This will go a long way in solving this problem.

If none of this leads anywhere, like I said, start small and easy and work from there. After the liquid detergent, I might try some of that white gelatin-like hand cleaner. I would not jump right into using heavy solvents.

No matter what you try, always begin in an inconspicuous spot; behind a door, in a corner, in a closet.

Remember, no matter what you try, try not to get the carpet soaked. If there is padding, anything too strong is going to disintegrate it, and it will take a VERY long time before you get rid of the odor once it soaks through.White gloss paint on carpet?
try a tsp of detergent and some warm water and blot the paint, don't rub too hard....

if you are going to use any spirits to try to remove it, use only water soluable stuff and try in a spot that is not in the middle of the floor....
Turps will remove your paint from your carpet. Dilute it first.
Use clean cloth dipped in white spirit, then use carpet or upholstery shampoo
go to sherwin williams paint store and get some goof-off it works really great to get paint off anything
belive it or not - baby oil works!! my bf spilt half a tin of gloss on my new carpet the once .....we had ran out of turps .....so we got it up with baby oil!!! u shud really do it straight away ...but have a go?!!
