How do i fix a already started project of latex semi gloss over semi gloss paint in the kitchen?

my kitchen was white semi gloss paint and i wasn't aware about having to sand the wall before painting over it,So i proceeded painting it over with a lavender latex semi gloss paint and was streaking. How can i continue my project with using the same paint and not having to prime it?How do i fix a already started project of latex semi gloss over semi gloss paint in the kitchen?

Let the paint dry over night. Lightly sand the area you painted and also the unpainted area. Then paint again with your lavender paint. Primer is not really requied, you just need to dull the old finish a little with sandpaper.

You still need at least two coats of lavender to cover up the white.
If your doing the kitchen I would do what '; pickmefirstplz '; suggested. Sand the walls . Plus as you have to wash the walls and ceiling with the TSP they will have tons of grease and sometimes food by the stove on the walls from cooking. It's the only way to get the walls done right.
sand and repaint
