This paint is more than likely a latex based paint...spirits,thinners etcetra nail polish remover wont touch it..go buy a quart of denatured alcoho0l at walmart..it will take the latex off..Here is a picture that shows what it looks like

Hi,

have you tried white spirit?

Get some on a cloth then rub over the paint on the glass,

might take a bit of elbow grease, but it will come off.

I done this with my window panes and it come off.
a stanley knife blade, at a 45% angle and sawing motion scrapes paint of glass
don't use any liquid. If it gets on an y of the other paint, you are doomed to repaint it. Use that razor blade, use a new one that has no chips in it, and hold it about 30 degrees off the glass on one side.
Please I'm a builder, Forget all other ansers, exept stanley knife blade. Do not use solvents! A razor blade will not scratch the glass. Take care!
mick g and mike are correct why people are giving them a thumbs down is beyond me, use a stanley knife blade (preferably in a scraper) you will not scratch the glass, its alot quicker than using chemicals.
try some white spirit on a cloth , rub the paint off and finish the corners with a blade , if you take your time you will not scratch the glass
Go and buy a Razor Scraper, I get this all the time...

Simple to use just dont press too hard..

They do NOT scratch the glass..If you are in the UK, B%26amp;Q sell them, in the painting section under scrapers..
start with something like Goop Off. It may remove it. If not, consult the experts...a painter, or call the local paint store and ask for suggestions. I've attached a link to the Asso. of North America Glass. They have info on what to do. Another good source maybe the local window washing company.

Good luck!
Nail polish remover should do the trick
I'm a Painting Contractor.....

mick G is right....just scrape the glazing and change blades often
Best decorator tip coming up - Use a copper coin ie 2p place flat on glass and just slide and bumb into paint . It may take some time but will be scratch free .
Agree with Mick and Mike. I'm no contractor, but I've painted lots of doors and windows in my time. Always used a razor blade to clean the paint off the glass. Never, ever scratched a glass. Next time, consider taping off the glass parts before you begin painting.
Hi hon , listen to the experts they are right - no liquid paint remover , just a sharp clean safety blade , lots of time and patience !!!
YOU can buy a glass cleaning scraper at BQ home base use this to take paint of the glass .. Very easy to use Good luck
hi

you could try white spirit but if the paints been on there a while it might not shift, i know you can buy a scraping blade tool from the diy shop that has a guard on this might be better than a razor blade and shouldnt scratch the glass.
