There are many good paints but Behr is certainly NOT the best paint. It's a very good paint but the best paint manufacturers are Sherwin Williams (duration or superpaint lines), Benjamin Moore (Aura line is really good), and Ralph Lauren.





I use all of these as an interior designer but my personal fave is Benjamin Moore.
Well you wouldn't normally put gloss paint on ceilings.





For woodwork the very best gloss I know of in the UK is Sikkens Rubbol AZ, followed by Dulux Trade Gloss. If you want a gloss finish on a ceiling because it is a bathroom I would use Dulux Quick-drying eggshell.
If in UK. I am using B %26amp; Q own brand Miracle gloss. It contains fine nanc-particles to give you a super tough high gloss finish. And it is water based so the brushes can be washed out with water which is a big bonus, I hate clean them up :-( I am impressed with it.
Benjamin Moore has the widest selection of paints. It's of a very high quality and is very long lasting. It keeps fresh for years to come and wipes easily with a wet cloth.





I've tried others over the years but none of them last as long as Benjamin Moore.
i know its not what you asked but, are you sure you want gloss?, it shows the imperfections on the surfaces, don't matter what the brand name is.





is it outdoors or indoors?
Buy a well known brand, no store's own brand, and for ceiling's you can't bet 'Eggshell'
