I painted an indoor windowsill and the high gloss paint is not dry 14 hours later. What do I do now?

Haha, you mixed oil and water! The paint on the windowsill prior to painting had a base the opposite of what you put on.

The only thing you can do is to scrape the excess off and then sand down to the wood. And this time, don't mix a water based primer and oil paint or vice versa.I painted an indoor windowsill and the high gloss paint is not dry 14 hours later. What do I do now?
Yeah if it was oil based paint before then you definatly need to get some plastic primer to paint on your window sill, and then paint it with latex paintI painted an indoor windowsill and the high gloss paint is not dry 14 hours later. What do I do now?
Be patient and wait a little longer if it is still not dry i would perhaps call home depot
Paint doesn't cure for 30 days. If you touch it within the first few days, it may very well still feel sticky. If you scratch it or nick it within the next 30 days, it won't fair well because it's technically still setting.

Stick a fan on it on low - not high - so that it'll blow on it, but not create too large a difference in temperature and create condensation.
