go to the hardware store and get some denatured alcohol and put a drop on a rag and gently rub the spots out, the alcohol will not harm the floor. Goof-Off is the product you need! works wonders, ever got latex paint out of a couch once.
plastic spatula, then if needed, fine sand paper or steel wool then very thin lacquer or nail clear nail polish.
try the water based goof off- it will remove the paint without harming the finish on your hardwood floor
