How can I get white gloss paint out of a carpet?

I have had an accident with a tin of white gloss and it is on the landing carpet..does anyone know how I can get this off? it is oil based? and right at the top of the stairs and it is a red carpet? any help would be appreciated ;0)How can I get white gloss paint out of a carpet?
Paint brush cleaner, and lots of it. As it's water miscable (ie - it mixes with water, but is a solvent) you can continue to blot up until it's diluted and gone. You need to act fast though. Once the gloss has set, you've had it.How can I get white gloss paint out of a carpet?
Use STAINS R OUT. Its made with banana oil so isn't harmful and wont take the colour out of the carpet, It smells pleasant too. You can get it from JML online.
Here is a site that I would highly recommend. They have very high quality stain removal techniques. I would suggest repeating the process after the first application, and rinsing the rug out with cool water in between applications. Best of luck!

Use clean cloth dipped in white spirit and dab carpet not rub, then use carpet or upholstery shampoo.
