I have tryed white spirit and scraping it with a scraper any ideas welcome thanksHow do you get gloss paint off glass?
wait until it has really dried (at least 48 hours) then gently scrape with a razor or Stanley blade
.How do you get gloss paint off glass?
Turps (subsitute)
nail polish remover...that might work?
Turpentine to soak the mark then an old fashioned razor blade to carefully dig/scrape the mark off.Be careful you
don't cut your fingers.
i was going to say try to scrape it gently but be careful not to scratch the glass
but as you have already done that, try stanley knife
its much sharper and has a point at the end so helps
MIND YOUR FINGERS !
Ah, that old chestnut.
A goodly application of turpentine, as gloss is oil-based.
leave for an hour, and it should depart from a smooth glass surface with the aid of something sharp. Stanley blades are fine, but watch your fingers.
A bit of a rub with a turps-soaked rag, and all is well.

Hi,
Buy a handled blade from your diy shop if its really dryed in you just have to use more elbow grease.x
I've got to agree with the others a razor blade does the trick
Wait for the paint to dry, then gently scrape it off.. easy!!
razor blade bit be care full!
Try goo-gone and let it set for a while, then use a razor blade to scrape it off.
i have the same problem lol.use paint stripper nothing else works.
wiat till dired and scrape with a blade! dont push too deep youll scratch glass!!!!! its the only thing that goes work!dont forget to clean the windoes once removed all the paint!
A razor blade should do the trick.
For latex paint, look for a product called ';Oops';. Yes, it is a real product. Think I bought my last at WalMart.
