Help have got white liquid gloss paint on my carpet! How do I get if off!?

We have been painting our nursery furniture and the liquid gloss paint we have been using has come through our dust sheets overnight! How do we get it off withough discourering or taking the colour out of the carpet? UK products please! How frustrating!

paint thinner with absorbent rags if wet





if dry and caked onto carpet pile surface trim the hardened paint w/ razor blades





if none of these apply repalce the carpeting with left-overs from the carpet installation---this may be your only alternative.





Matching carpet with scraps in a carpet store can be tedious and frustrating so re-carpeting comes to mind as the ultimate solution.Help have got white liquid gloss paint on my carpet! How do I get if off!?
Sorry to say, but you will never get it completely off, the best thing to do is buy a rug to go over it or claim on your contents insurance (if you have it and if you have accidental cover) but be careful because they might not pay out because they might say you should of done it outside!
