I painted a bedroom in a semi-gloss paint and I hate the glossy look, how do I correct this?

The color is a dark navy blue.I painted a bedroom in a semi-gloss paint and I hate the glossy look, how do I correct this?
Going to have to paint again. Flat if no one's fingers ever touch the walls. Eggshell if you need light wash-ability.

No need to sand. Any decent latex paint adheres to latex semi-gloss just fine.I painted a bedroom in a semi-gloss paint and I hate the glossy look, how do I correct this?
I was reading some of the answers that other people gave you. You can't just paint over semi-gloss paint. You have to lightly sand it in order to get rid of the gloss, or else the new paint won't stick to your wall.
paint over it with flat....
you can repaint it with flat paint
Lightly sand the walls then put a new coat of of same color paint but use a non glossy finish such as a flat latex paint. My husband use to paint inside house's when he was younger for a living and thinks this will look the best for your room. Good Luck!!
