How do I get gloss paint off my car?

I have a black car and it has small specks of white gloss paint that has spattered on to it while it was parked, I don't know where from. Any ideas on the best way to remove it without damaging the paintwork.How do I get gloss paint off my car?
petrol on a rag will do it...once its all off wax the car...sorted.

try a little goof off//dont do in sunlite and try in a small spot thats not too noticeable //dont rub hard let the chemical do the work//wax after if it comes off//work it slow until you get used to it
Try a little rubbing compound on a damp cloth.Is the paint latex or oil based? Latex comes off with water and patience.
u can get what they call a Clay bar from a good car cleaning company Apply with fairy liquid and polish up after
Try T cut. That should get it off
